World Politics in a Nutshell

God has given us the grand outlines of the political picture for the present period. He is about to bless humanity by means of one Head ruling “one world.” Men are seeking to attain utopia without Him, one faction by uniting the nations into a league, the other by the rule of a single head. These ideologies are clashing because the league is a failure politically and the one man a failure morally and economically. Not until God sends them a false, immoral head who is strong both politically and economically will men seem to gain their goal under the man of sin, the antichrist who will defy the Deity. When God has taught men the futility of their own efforts by terrific inflictions He will send His Christ, Who will bring every blessing by means of subjection to the Deity and His delegates.

BREAKING NEWS: Proof that Today’s Election Has Been Rigged!

November 8, 2016

(Have the Goodie read to you!)

We have heard repeatedly during this election cycle that the events culminating today have all been rigged. Much discussion has been entered on this important and controversial topic.

We’ve diligently looked into this matter with the intent of pulling back the curtain of media commentators and political pundits with the goal of getting to the truth of the matter. We’ve uncovered crucial source documents, proving emphatically that today’s election has indeed unquestionably been rigged.

In an ancient document from Babylon, dated at b.c. 607, written by an insider – one of royal and princely descent – we have identified shocking evidence concerning today’s election events.

Daniel, God’s prophet of the “times of the Gentiles,” was given a revelation that sweeps the entire course of “Gentile” world-rule. He conclusively writes,

… The Most High rules in the governments of men, and gives it to whomever He will, and sets up over it the basest of men (Daniel 4:17).

He does according to His will … among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can restrain His hand (Daniel 4:35).

This evidence has also been confirmed by other vital source documents.

He is a great King over all the earth, … [Who rules] over all the kingdoms of the nations (Psalm 47:2; II Chronicles 20:6).

This divine sovereignty extends as well to the administrations of those in power, for,

The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: He turns it wherever He will (Proverbs 21:1).

In fact, official documents from a.d. 53 reveal that God rules over all nations, even to the point of establishing their times and boundaries. The who, how, when and where of all nations are all determined by God for His Own purposes.

[God] has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation (Acts 17:26).

Today’s election and its political mechanisms are but secondary causes involved in placing leaders in power. God Himself is the absolute, ultimate and sovereign Placer and Subjector, Who sets up kings, controls them and deposes of them.

He changes the times and the seasons: He removes kings, and sets up kings (Daniel 2:21).

For the United States, today, November 8th is but a day of national illusion of free-will. There’s only one vote that will in fact count for today. Perhaps by day’s end the result of that solitary vote will be revealed.

The Basest of Mankind

The Most High rules in the governments of men, and gives it to whomever He will, and sets up over it the basest of men (Daniel 4:17).

In this verse, not only do we see the sovereignty of God clearly revealed in human governments, so that He gives them to whomever He pleases, but we also see His decreed choice of earthly rulers.

Many attempt to pursue a purpose that is contrary to God’s revealed standard – which is to give the current governments of the earth to the basest of men.” This is quite a commentary on who “wins” elections.

The fact is that believers are indeed innately extremely political. However, our political jurisdiction is just not on earth; “for our politics [πολίτευμα, politeuma] are in heaven (Philippians 3:20).

Although conducted with genuine, godly passion, these misplaced heavenly politics become vainly exercised in the earthly realm. Believers have high-level politics (ἐπουράνιος, epouraniosi.e., the “high places” Ephesians 6:12), and we with patience await our turn among the governments of the celestials.C2Pilkington-4

Political Reforms

Many dear saints of the past and present feel called upon to give their lives to the physical welfare of their fellows, especially by introducing reforms in government, and even opposing rule which they think harmful. But once we see God’s great object in human government, that it is to humble humanity, and so to lead them to rely alone on Him, then we see the reason why we are exhorted to be subject to the superior authorities, and understand how it is that there is no authority except under God (Romans 13:2). We are not to resist any authority. It is wrong to resist, no matter what may be our opinion of their rule. God does not intend them to be perfect, so they cannot come up to any such standard. Besides, they are hampered by the many failings of the mortals over whom they sway, and cannot attain even their own ideals.

In the United States voices are loud in urging Christians to combine in order to control the government and save it from corruption and godlessness. They point to the failure of the church in Europe to take an active part in opposing oppression and preventing war, and call upon the religious people to use their influence in creating a new world. Little do they realize that this will develop into the worst of all world powers that have ever afflicted mankind! Terrestrial rule is not for us. Our realm is in the heavens.

Man’s Misrule

The eras of the nations, in which we live, bring us to the culmination and climax of man’s misrule. … There is a well-known work, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, which traces the descent of one of the great nations. Yet Rome was just a sample of all the rest. All other nations more or less conform to this pattern.

Christ says, “Love your enemies”;

Christ says, “Bless them who curse you”;

Christ says, “Do good to them”;
War says, “Do them harm.”

Christ says, “Pray for them”;
War says, “Slay them.”

Christ says, “I am not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them”;
War says, “I am come to destroy men’s lives.”

Paul says, “Overcome evil with good”;
War says, “Overcome evil with evil.”

Paul says, “If your enemy hungers, feed him”;
War says, “Starve him.”

Paul says, “If he thirsts, give him drink”;
War says, “Destroy his wells.”

Paul says, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood”;
War says, “We do wrestle against flesh and blood.”

All Forms of Government Are Bad

August 30, 2016

What kind of government is the best? In school the children are taught that the form of government they are under is the best. … All of the different forms of government, from anarchy to absolute despotism, are according to the purpose of God. They are all bad insofar as they are not subject to God … [However] God does not make all authority bad now. He gives good rulers once in a while by way of change, because we need the contrasts … [But] It is their failure that fulfills God’s purpose.
